My other half scraped her Clio on column in a car park. I've not had a good look yet but I think it's scraped through to the metal in few bits on the rear wheel arch. It's an old, high mileage, tatty car and we've no interest in getting it fixed properly - but I don't want it to rust either.

What's the best thing to do, clean it up and just colour it in with touch up pens? The car is metallic black so it's not really going to match too well!

Just put a thin layer of paint on with a touch up stick.
If the car has a clear coat (there will be two touch up sticks in the kit if so) then put that on after as the paint will be porous.

Don't bother with primer or trying to spray anything.

Touch it up with pens and deal with it or get it repaired properly

I think it is, but I wanted something on there just in case. It's got primer on it now, I'll fill in with colour later.
