Previous Bundle discontinued - replacement?

Hello,

Built our last PC using this bundle and I was pleased with it for it's (non-gaming) performance.

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor + Asus Z97-K Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard.

Thought I would get another to replace an older PC but see that it is discontinued! Any suggestions for a similar performance please. Have some DDR3 memory I could use but is that "time served" now??

Any suggestions from an OCUK mb/cpu bundle please? Thanks.

Skylake is the new thing.

The K series of Skylake CPUS dont include a cooler, so you will need to add one (socket 1151 is the same as 1155/56/50), so that needs to be factored into the cost.

I also bought a 4690k bundle last year but if I was building a new system now I would be looking to go with skylake. the 6600k would be my choice.

Thanks Gentlemen. Would go for Skylake and probably DDR4. Would go for 16GB as I use Photoshop a fair amount. Never have used stock cooler - seem to have several around!

Im tempted to upgrade to skylake I know its a bit of a sidegrade really as there about 5% in it if that. but I have a mate that's after my system so I might sell mine and build a new system going with skylake.
