Prey 2

Well, just finished playing Prey having bought it during the $5 deal on Steam and I thought it was a really good game. I especially loved the gravity shifts and walkways and probably would have appreciated the portals more had I not already played portal. The graphics have dated exceedingly well and I felt that some looked very much like Bioshock though the NPCs were very dodgy. However, at the end of the game (If you stuck around after the credits) they promised a sequel and a quick google search says that details might be available near the end of 2007 but I can't find much else. Now that it's 2008 I was wondering if anybody else knew much about a possible Prey 2?

The ending of Prey gives a good suggestion Prey 2 is on the way doesn't it, be nice to have a sequel! Only thing I didn't like about Prey was the end boss fight, it was pretty naff. :/

Prey was quite good, nothing special. I thought it was like a no nonsense DOOM3. The biggest let down for me was that the opening stage of the game is by far the best so made it slightly disapointing after that. also the re-spawn after you die makes you lazy. I have been pinned in the corner by a boss and out of laziness it was easier to shoot, die, re-spawn, shoot some more, die etc etc etc rather that actually play it properly but yeah i still liked it

Absolutely loved Prey. Hopefully Human Head are developing it again, though according to some forums it seems that they have no current known projects

Found the AI as dumb as a box of rocks. Got boring waiting for an enemy grunt to just walk in front of you and snipe them from a distance.

Good premise, ok gaming but not very involving.

I hate adaptive difficulty in FPS games.

I'm quite a skilled FPS player (been playing online since original quake). Every game that has adaptive difficulty ends with swarm after swarm of enemies coming at me, with nowhere near enough ammo to take them all down (even with 100% shot accuracy). Highly annoying...

I liked Prey, but the last 20% or so of it was awful. I'd like to see a sequel.
