prey difficultys

Normal and Cherokee.

"Prey Difficulties" is a misnomer anyway, since there is no such thing thanks to the infinite respawns.

The fact you can do Cherokee difficulty in sub 4 hours on the console version also shows that it's not only easy, but short.

However, it was a fantastic 4 hours :).

The monsters are harder to kill so it's more difficult, infinite respawns is the same as reloading the game so why is it a bad thing?

You can hack away at a boss piecemeal. With quicksaves at least you have to do it perfect between saves, with the afterlife thing you just keep firing away. Whats worse is on Cherokee there are no ways to replenish your health, so you end up constantly having to faff about with those wraith things. I gave up on cherokee because I couldn't stand the lack of health packs :p

On the plus side I love Prey :) On normal its an awesome game.

As mentioned it means that bosses are no challenge, there's on in particular I remember where I would just charge in blazing away, die, rinse and repeat until his health ran out.

It also means that in 'hard' sections you can kill off enemies one by one and keep coming back.

I quickly learnt that in many cases using quickload was actually a BAD idea because it means that any damage done since the last save was undone.
