price drops

when can prices of core 2 duo expect to drop? i am saving up for new system atm and want to know how it would be until prices of like cpu and memory drop

Personally i doubt it'll fall anytime soon, only the top of the line c2d perhaps, due to kentsfield, but the lower end are already excellent value, personally looking forward more to mainboard price drops as they're off the scale if you want a good clocker.
Ram is overpriced too, and I expect ram to drop in price somwhere between december and march.

Maybe after Christmas? I don't think there will be any significant price drops until the competition gets here i.e. AMD
