Price Drops?

I am thinking of upgrading my computer in the near future (Athlon64 3200+, 1Gb RAM, 6600gt).

Ive heard news of various price drops coming up soon, but ive been a bit out of the scene so im not sure whats really going on with it all!

Im looking to spend about £500 on a new processor, RAM, and graphics card.

If i was going to upgrade now it would be to the E6600 with a 8800GTS.

Is is worth my while waiting for price drops, and are they going to be nice and big like the X2's last summer?

You could get some ram now as its cheap and wait until next month to get a Q6600 and a 8800GTS 640MB.

That lot should come close to £500.

You can pick up a Q6600 for around the same price as the E6600's are currently which, to me is definitely worth waiting for.

You can probobly get in a GTX at those prices, £150 for CPU, £60 for Ram and £300 for gfx.
