Heard bag things about the powercolor shame gainward do not have a 1 gig version and gigabyte.

I have the 1GB powercolor, no problems here.

They are all the same, just different stickers and warranties, i wouldn't let the brand name put you off.

I would like to run my games at 1600x1200 i normally game at 1024x768 and want my games maxed out like oblivion which my 8800gt 512 struggled to run on max settings.

I have the Powercolor also, had no problems at all with mine.

The only reason i wont be using it now is because I bought a GTX280 this morning.

I have a 512MB Powercolor. I have had many in the past also, they are a reliable brand. As mentioned above, difference in price is due to different warranties, clock speeds, extras etc. The card itself is actually the same
