Price of a ps2

Just a question for everyone. What do you think a reasonable price for a brand new ps2 slim with 2 games would be? From a shop.

Think they were going for around £80... Could be wrong, is the PS2 still produced?

Its quite an old console now. Are games still released for it? Must be showing its age by now.
 
I was thinking around 60 really as I think you can get them pre-owned for 40.

Yer I'm struggling to find anywhere that sells them new anymore! Don't think games are still released for it but theres a massive back catelogue. Thankfully I've only got one to shift!
 
I've seen the Slims for £25 at Cash Converters. God knows how Sony had the Nerve to still sell em new for £80 right up till recently is beyond me.

Because it's got possibly the best back catalogue of games out of any console on the market? It's still selling surprisingly well for such and old beast, especially considering that the profit margin is likely much, much higher than the newer consoles.

£50 max maybe? Here in Norway they are about £90 brand new :rolleyes:

I can sell you one of my 3 if you want ;) We ended up buying one of those PS3s that can run PS2 games second hand just because we got so many.
