prices of hardware

can anyone give a guess as to when the prices will start to fall again? near christmas? end of january time?

just wondering when to upgrade really.

i mean theres the money i have now, the money i will have then, the prices now, the prices then, the hardware available now/then etc so i want to get it right.

would you wait?

There have been price cuts recently that have actually turned out to be price increases due to the exchange rate.

Its only getting worse at the moment really, once the pound can buy more around the world it will be the perfect time to buy.

Nothing outstanding is going to happen with the products to see items halve in price overnight for quite some time, all the manufacturers want to get as much out of the current technology as possible (think Nvidia with the 8800s when they were top for over a year, did not release new parts until ATI threatened).
