I don't particularly want to have to do this, but it's an option I must consider.

Seeing as I am currently off work sick with Depression (and only on SSP) and my job due to finish in a week anyway I am somewhat concerned about my finances until I find another job.

Since my camera kit gets so little use anyway I am thinking of selling up (with a view to upgrading to a 30D when I get a new job)

sorry i cant help you with the prices, my knowledge is to small. but i would be very intrested in the 50mm lense and filtes :) when you have come up with a good price thanks

Edit: the 50mm is 89 new so maybe £40 second hand?

Apart from checking auction sites for price guides etc - I bought my 50mm f/1.8 early last year for £50 second hand from my local camera shop plus a couple of filters (polariser etc for a fiver each); I sold my remote for £22 a couple of months ago and the battery grip for £60ish late last year. Might give you some idea for those but guess you'd want to sell your kit as a whole?
 
Things are getting desperate, so although I'd prefer to sell as a whole I won't rule out splitting if it comes to me having to sell

Re the 50mm F/1.8 II , i was watching the nikon equivelant on fleabay last friday and that alone (non D model) went for £78 so i bought a new one at £95 (50mm F/1.8D).

I would have thought you'd make considerably more by splitting the items down and auctioning off in smaller amounts.
 
50mm F1.8's are going for around £55 ish i think.

would be interested in paying around that depending on condition - dont want the filters.

oddly enough also interested in the horseshoe spirit level/
 
try using members market dude, must better there and the thread won't get killed by a passing don like this will (no trading/Price checks outside MM)
