I'm selling my ER-6F and moving on, likely to an Aprilia Shiver.

The ER-6F is a 59 with just less than 2,000 on the clock and no damage or scuffs.

Is £3,950 excessive?

i'd say so but bikes don't tend to lose as much value after the first year or 2 of ownership....

it's low miles but 75% of bikes are anyway - they're toys for most.

If it's in good nick I'd say that was reasonable. It's probably about the price a dealer would sell it for.

Problem is a dealer will have to back that with a 6 month warranty, so you'd have to price lower than that.

Best bet look on bike trader around where you are to get an idea.

Also look on eBay, ideally for completed listings, as you know roughly what they sold for.

The ER6-n was the bike I learned on, lovely little machine :)
