Prime 95 Question

So I decided to push my phenom 9550 ( yes it is old and its next on the list to get replaced )
As this is not the black edition I can only up the FSB so i have set the ram to run well below its stock settings and have bumped the cpu speed up to 2.68Ghz
from 2.2
my question is should i use the small FFT's torture test as my ram is not oc'd or the blend test.

Whenever I've Overclocked my CPU I always run a BLEND test just to be thorough, even if I haven't touched my RAM.

Either is fine. Generally I use blend to also ensure RAM is stable too, even though it hasn't been overclocked. I have heard however small FFT does sometimes stress the CPU more, but haven't really noticed this at all.

I'm not sure tbh but I thought I'd send you a message seeing as we both posted about our 9950 ( Ive the black edition ) on the same day, considering its an old processor whats the odd lol, just curious I'm using a stock cooler, what cooler are you using?

aww god I though most people had long since binned the old phenoms :L
I just use a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 its not great but it was cheap and it keeps this low power cpu cool.
What sort of oc can you get with yours?
Mine will not go past 2.67Ghz but I suppose it's not the black edition and i have a cheap mobo and ram

Ive a cheap mobo cheap ram and a minitower, i struggled to get it past 2.6 atall lol
