just ran prime 95 and went away for a while and came back to have a look, never run it before so dont quite understand how it works, the second worker has reported an error, does this mean one of my cores is less stable than the other? the second stopped after quater of an hour but the first is satill going after about an hour, on real temp core 1 is about 60 and fluctuating wheras core 2 is stable at 49, i presume thios means core 2 has stopped working so hard? so why has core 2 konked out? is the OC too high? i dont think it has been a problem, the voltage is only 1.3, ive nebver seen core 2 get above 62c... core 1 always seems to be hotter aswell and in a gadget on the toolbar core 1 always does more work,

i realise this may make little sense first read but any help would be greatly apreciated!!

Yup, if it reports an error it means that core has failed to process the test properly. That means your OC is unstable; considering your temps, most likely because of the vCore.

id set the fsb termination voltage at 1.34, may that have been a bit too low?
also nothing labeled as Vcore in mi bios, any other names its got? is it just the CPU voltage?

soz bad keyboard :p diddnt check when i posted, what i meant to say was:

put it up to 1.4 but CPU-Z says its only using 1.34. In Prime 95 ive already been going for 3/4 of an hour rather than the 13 mins it took to die before... so looks like it may be sorted! cheers guys!

its a wireless keyboard and looses connection sometimes, i just need to watch what im typing, also i need to learn how to touch type.......

That vdroop or vdrop, there is something called load line calibration which can help reduce that if enabled in the BIOS, you may need to check your manual just in case it is labled as something else.

That'll be a touch of vdroop. You need to be running prime 95 for more than three quarters of an hour to test for stablity, try and leave it testing overnight
