Prime on a Quad core not 100%?

Hi All

I'm probably being a bit of a numpty or something but does this seem odd:

I've downloaded the latest copy of Prime95 and am running it on a Q6600 with Vista64.

The odd thing is that when I set it off on it's torture test for max heat the temp doesn't go up much. Even more odd is that looking in task manager the CPU cores are only at about 30%?

If I set Prime to use just one core then it hits 100% on that core with no problem.

Is this normal?

You need the version of prime that supports all 4 cores.

I'm using p64v2414 as I'm running Vista64.

Google for Prime95 25.5 - that version can run a thread per core. Older versions only run a single thread so you'd need 4 copies running at once.
