Hi guys
I have posted in other threads about overclocking my pc before but couldn't find a similar thread with regards to blend test. Now I have already run 2 hours of SP 2004 Orthos small FFTs, 43 passes of Intel Blend Test (IBT) (2 hours 45mins) and 50 passes of IBT (3 hours 10mins) again. My cpu is [email protected] and 3GB corsair DDR2 800MHz ram.
Now I would like to do a prime95 blend test. However these are the following default settings:
-Min FFT size (in K): 8 (I presume it means 8000)
-Max FFt size (in K):4096
-Memory to use (in MB): 1600
-Run FFTs in-place (unchecked)
-Time to run each FFT size (in minutes): 15
However there is a custom option aswell where I can change all these settings. I would like to know if it is important to change these values as by default it will only be using 1.6GB of my total ram. Should I change this to 3GB ram and other settings or leave it as it is? Many thanks for help.
