I'm getting this error I have my memory on a 166 divider.

This is my overclock

no I had on 200 and it did it then too I did at 200 before the 166 I've read that changing the DDR to 2.7volts can help what do you think?

I've taken the DDR up to 2.75 and primes running longer I'm crossing my fingers as there's no problems so far. (Touch wood)

Whats the normal speed of a 3200+ (Im not clued up on AMD unfortunately) ?

That error in Prime95 basically means the overclock isn't stable. Erroring out that quickly means it is very unstable!

Normal speed is 2Ghz.

How long does the test last or is it up to me how long I want to leave it running?

I might go bed and leave it running and if everythings fine when I wake up that'll do. It's not like I'm going to play Fear for ten hours straight. :D

If a CPU gets to hot in the past I've notice a PC will start behaving strangly like very laggy and un-responsive now if this was to happen while running prime surly prime will come up will an error and stop. There for I wonder how important it is to keep an eye on my temps as the stress test will stop anyway if there's any problems cause from my cpu over heating.

Well I'm at 2.6Ghz on my 3200+ using the retail fan. lol As the optys are better clockers and not only that isn't the 148 opty a 2.2Ghz cpu? I'm guessing you should get 2.8Ghz fine.

I'd see what others say thought as I'm going on logic and not fact.

In Asus probe 2 I've gone in my config and set the threshold to 50C and ticked the box I hope this is all the safty I need to do.

OK I used prime 95 for 11 hours and 44 mins with no errors so it seems the problem was fix by upping the DDR volts to 2.75. So can I class my [email protected] a stable overclock now? (I run the Blend Torture Test as it said it was a bit of everything)

I get the same error in prime, but ive run my cpu at 2.6 for a long time now and have no windows issues, games run fine and i encode a lot, so im not sure how acurate this Test is?

3D Mark and Sysoft Sandra all run tests fine too, i have even tried running the test with my pc at stock, and guess what, same error ?

Leads me to believe there is little stock in Prime95 or there is a minor fault in my hardware, but not my overclock.

Try upping the DDR volts like I did to 2.75 see if it fixes your problem it did for me.
