Hi Guys,
I've been stress testing my PC before clocking to ensure its stable and when using prime 95 on a CPU and Memory stress I had an error on 2 core of my Q6600
The error was:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file
That txt file doesn't exist though and the error came after 3.5 hours or so. I also ran this before and got an error on 1 core at around the same time.
I'm currently stressing using Orthos after upping my memory voltage to 2.01 (using the +0.1 option in the bios for DDR setting. I am using a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L)
the system seems stable enough although i have been booted out of a game once or twice but I think it might be the game as its an old version of Joint Operations: Typhoon rising that i had knocking about.
So... is this anything to worry about? Is it actually a fault or a setting i might have wrong?
All help appreciated!
Regards
Lee
