Never really OCed a gfx card before, so I was wondering if there's a program that stresses the card, like Prime95 does for CPUs, to check an OC is stable?

Which programs are best for it? How long should they be run?

Furmark overstresses.
Heaven and 3D mark 11 are both good. OCCT is excellet for fault finding.

TBH, games are the best :)

Games are certainly the most fun was to do it :p Only problem is, whilst I was playing FarCry2 over the last few weeks, I kept getting gfx errors/crashing, but I've never had a problem with any other games, so I wanted to try to check if my card is actually unstable, or if it's a bug in the game. So, for that, OCCT would be best, you think?

yep. Put error checking on :)

Since 270.xx drivers, nvidia has been cheating in Furmark so the best program to stress is to loop Unigine Heaven or folding@home GPU client, for at least 12 hours while you sleep.
