Hi,i downloaded a beta version of prime95+ which stress tested all 4 cores of my qx6700 at 100%,i cant seem to find it again any links to where i can download it,thanks.I can run orthos beta fine,prime95+ beta on all 4 cores no problems, but if i run prime95 24.14 it fails within seconds any ideas, already memtested passes fine.

I prefer sp2004 tbh, its prime but with a nicer gui and its easier to use with multiple cores, just run 4 copies at once.

Not sure what the difference is between prime95 and prime95+, but sp2004 is prime95 so if that's the one that's failing then sp2004 should fail too and you know you'll need to raise the volts or lower the speed a little.

The Orthos beta is the dual-core version of SP2004.

Hi,this is failing at stock speeds,i have the sp2004 if i run it twice it just says its testing cpu0 and cpu1 not 3 and 4

Ahh i didn't know that. But as its beta i'd say go with 4 copies of sp2004 rather than two copies of orthos, assuming you can run 4 copies of sp2004.

Then run it 4 times? I think that should work.

If its failing at stock speeds you've got some serious problems. Are you sure its at stock, have you double checked everything in the bios is at stock or below?

definately at stock speeds, ive memtested it passed fine hoping it aint my new qx6700,thanks for the replys

You must copy the programme into a new directory to run it twice or more times.
Only with prime 95, this is not necessary with sp2004, that's one of the main reasons why sp2004 exists, that and a better gui. You just run it 4 times and it will run 4 instances.

if i run sp2004 4 times it still only uses cpu 1,2 not 3,4 i had a prime95 beta which ran all 4 cores at 100% but i cant find it any help appreciated
