A compact PC system offering quite incredible value, the Primo Cobra ntel Core 2 Duo E7400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 2.80GHz is built around the popular Abit IP35 Pro XE Intel P35 motherboard. Providing more performance than most people will ever need the Primo Cobra is ideal for home or office use. Whilst the price is low the Primo Cobra uses only the very best hardware.

Agreed - clocking should be easy.

The e7400 wolfie is a lovely chip (i have an e7200 in my HTPC) and the mobo is nice too.

All i'd want to know is what type of CPU cooler you have. If it's the retail model you might be a little limited on how far you can go.

I've heard of the lower e7200's doing 3.6ghz+ easily (some around 3.9ghz-4ghz) so your e7400 (with its 10.5x multi) with decent cooling i'd be aiming for at least that as a start.

Nice gt_junkie what CPU cooler would you recommend without knowign all the facts id say budget £40 / $75
Happy your a diamond mobo helps a lot.;)

That's a bit much. A 4670 is hardly "more performance than most people will ever need" is it. It is only a budget card after all. It also has a motherboard from a manufacturer that does'nt make motherboards any more and the Seagate 7200.11's are dodgy to say the least.

For a lower budget the Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro is a good option @ just over £20.

For a bit more i also like the look of this Scythe.

And for a bit more still either the Thermalrite Ultra 120 Extreme or something like the Scythe Ninja (still one of my favourite air coolers). They're both incredibly capable.

Best of the bunch is probably the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme. Although it's at the top end of your budget due to you needing to buy an additional fan to strap to it.

(The Noctua's are also nice but they are quite a chunk over your budget.)
