Primo Mobile - 15.4" WXGA Laptop

It sounds like these are custom built by OcUK - anyone bought one? any opinions?

How would the quality of these be compared to a Dell/Toshiba etc?

For the price the spec sounds pretty good.


Can anyone from OcUK give an approx time these usually take to be delivered from day of order?

BIG BUMP!!

Sorry, was going to post a thread about this laptop but saw this one!

I was looking at these as I might need to get one for work. Anyone rate it? I was wondering how the T4200@2GHz performs? It seems quite lacklustre on the face of it, but the C2D are a £100 more which is a big jump.

I'll be using it primarily for programming and general office work. I wont be using it for any form of gaming so the graphics don't bother me.

It's quite possible that I will be buying it without OS as I hope to be running linux on it if I can get to grips with it.

What would the alternatives be for around £500?
