What happened to primochills Advanced LRT clear tubing in the uk ? i can't find it anywhere, its the only tubing i've used over the years that hasn't leached plasticizer and filled my blocks up with gunk.

Recently i thought i'd give the EK duraclear a try but a few months down the line and my cpu block is filled with plasticizer, went to order some LRT and not even an out of stock listing, what gives ?

It's overhyped and overpriced in my opinion. It does leach plasticiser with some coolants as well. Try the excellent Mayhems tubing. It's cheap and very easy to work with. I have been using it for over a year now and have had no problems at all. Before that I used XSPC and then Primochill LRT and won't be changing back to them.

I'd gladly use the Mayhems but they dont do 16/11 tubing only 16/10 , all my compression fittings are 16/11 :(

So are mine and the Mayhems tubing fit nicely. You need a bit more force to screw the collars up but it's no great hassle. I have a mix of generic, XSPC and Monsoon 16/11mm (7/16") compression fittings and they all work fine with the Mayhems 10/16mm tubing. These Monsoon fittings in particular are a excellent fit.

Thanks pasty, i'll give it a try

It's really good tubing and unbeatable for the price.
+1

I've used most of the stuff on the market at some point or another now and I always end up back on mayhem's, its cheaper and just seems just as well made if not better than the more expensive stuff anyway.

Finished off tubing last night, used a hair dryer to soften up the Mayhems pipe and a little dab of soap on the outside to aid screwing up the compression fittings , very happy indeed and thanks for the advice guys :)
