Primochill bending jig experiences ?

Just a quickie, has anyone had any experiences with the Primochill bender... ? It seems a lot of money for what is a piece of acrylic with 3 rods and 6 screws. I've watched the video a few times but can't really see that it does a whole lot really, other than holding the tube square, well to an extent any way. Or am I completely missing the point ?

I've not used that one but i bought the monsoon kit and tbh i wouldn't have been able to get the bends right without it.

I've got the Monsoon kit, and couldn't get on with it, it seamed too much faffing about.
