Prince of Persia launcher error

Has anyone got this message and solved it?

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Prince of Persia\Launcher\Launcher.exe This application has failed to start because the application conficuration is incorrect.Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

I had this error to. It's something to do with C++ and .net framework. Try and install the latest versions of both.
