For anyone in despair at how long the hollow knight sequel is taking. This should tide us over.

I think it's the kind of game geared towards a Ubisoft+ subscription. That's probably what they want you to do as it should be about half that price really.

demo looks and plays ok but the story, characters and setting just feels very safe. Doubt I'd get more than a few hours before getting bored with the full game

The game runs on even modest hardware. Over 300 fps on an A770 at 1080p ultra settings.

I paid for Unisoft+ to play this. The start is promising.

Having played Metroid: Dread to 100% completion, I thought I would try one of the harder difficulties. Then it took me about 10 attempts to kill the first boss (General on the horse)

I might get better, but the parrying window doesn't seem very generous.

Managed to finish Price of Persia with 98% complete.

There's some tricky platforming combo stuff towards the end of the game that can be a bit annoying, but a recommendation overall.

It's a good 20 hours.

I ended up purchasing this during steam sale and fair play to Ubisoft. They really nailed a metroidvania. The platforming is super sharp and the combat has teeth too.
