Hi Guys, I am a project Manager with around 10 years of experience. I would like to take up PRINCE2 Certification for both Foundation and Practitioner levels. Could anyone tell me about some good ATO's who provide this training. It would be nice if you could share your experiences here.

Not sure what an ATO is but you might want to check out QA. Not done the PRINCE2 certs yet (sigh) but they've been pretty good for other courses I've done with them.

There's a big list of ATO's (here)... i guess it depends what part of the country your in, choose the nearest one? I've used Raj Khanna Associates for both foundation and practitioner (and MSP), quality bloke.

However, if you've been a PM for 10 years... what methods have you been using up till now? And why now to do Prince 2?

Added note; the link in the post 2 above gives good insights to the course(s). For me it tied things, which i already knew, together in a structured format.

I used QA, no idea on the cost as my company paid for it. They cover foundation over three days and practitioner over two, including taking the exams.

For reference the trainer said that only about a dozen people in the years he's done the training have ever failed foundation. What he didn't say is that PRINCE2 is the most boring piece of training you will ever do.

Must have had a bad trainer? Foundation is more interesting than Practitioner.... Pratitioner was a hard exam for me, i had to take it twice to pass! :(

Project managers are a dying bread. It is all about lean, agile, kanban.... these days.

Dont understand this statement, sorry.

Please elabroate on the connection between operational improvement methodologies and project delivery?

Thanks guys for your responses. The main reason for doing a certification now is that my Project demands it. We normally follow our own project methodology and it is a mix of all existing frameworks. One of my colleagues has done it through PROJstudy. Has anyone heard of it?
