Principally, what's wrong with kicking tyres?

Sniping is just bidding on something in the last minute and as for non payment I presume you can only call them time wasters. Although can't see why we hanging up on technicalities here heh.

when my little red mk2 was on ebay, someone came round to see it, passed themself off as knowledgable, got in the car and started to rev it hard from stone cold. i had to have a go at them, asking why they were so completely stupid

and then tried to tell me it was pouring out blue smoke on idle, whilst holding a blue tinged led torch to the exhaust

didnt kick any tyres though

had this when i was selling my old laguna diesel, prospective owners dad who was all of 90+ prodded his walking stick on the throttle when the engine was cold and proceeded to take it to the redline
luckily for me they ended up buying the car otherwise the old codger would have had the walking stick wrapped round his kneck :p

I always kick the tyres on my HGV very hard, if my foot does not hurt, the tyre is obviously low on pressure and I get it checked out, often followed by a need to check out my foot! :o :D

I don't think I have ever kicked a car tyre though (apart from walking into stray ones at scrappys!)
