Hi folks,

I want to send a print to a file from a windows application. There is a tick box on the printer dialogue box that allows me to print to file, but the output (when read in notepad) has lots of what looks like printer driver code (ie references to PCL etc etc)

Is there an easy way I can output this to straight text, or possibly PDF. If there is a solution without having to install additional software, that'd be great. I guess there's probably a way of installing a text-only print driver or something, but I don't really know which direction to head.

Ta in advance,

For straight text, install the Generic/Text Only printer driver, and direct it to the FILE: port - this will prompt you with where you wish to save the output for everything printed
