Print Quality?

Hi there,

I am looking to have some photo's printed into posters at A1 size.

Now, i have been recommended that the photo's be around 8MP, unless they are for really close viewing

But, what sort of paper do i need? They will only be hung on the wall with blu-tack.

Currently availabe is 130GSM, 190GSM, or 260 GSM (In Satin, Matte, and Gloss finish)

What would you recommend paper/finish wise? is the thinner stuff gonna be ok?

You could get away with 190, but definitely not 130.

Finish is whatever you want it to be, surely? You'd rarely see a gloss poster, maybe matt if in a high reflection area?
