Our home network supplies 3 PCs and a laptop in various places around the house. The printer in connected to the machine nearest to the network router - my desk! I would like to move the printer away and put it on the network. has anyone experience of this at home and did you use wired or wireless to connect?
Our house has a lot of problems with wireless due to the hot water heating part of the central heating system but the intended siting for the printer would be in view of the wireless router.
Suggestions for which print server might be suitable would be helpful as would any tales of woe about printers that didn't work. I will be using an HP LJ6P initially and have an LJ1200 I could use but it is slow on a network.
