Printable web pages?

Hi there
This is probably a silly question.
But I am trying to make a website for my office that contains content that also ideally could be printable?

I'm finding that when i press print preview that the page itself looks ok but rather than it auto spreading to a 2nd or 3rd page the content simply gets cut off at the bottom of the page.

is there something that I can do to help with this or am I hitting a brick wall?

use a css stylesheet that's specific to your printable content.
