Printer advice please

[Pawnless Endgame]

I recently lost an HP 5850 printer. It was 2003 anyway so it had a good lifespan. It takes cartridge numbers 56, 57 and 58. I still have one of each, so I should really try and get another model that takes those numbers. I'm struggling to find such models on marketplace sites so it is better to just start afresh? Are there newer cartridge numbers that offer a more desirable output than 56/57/58?

its really not a good idea to buy a printer basing on the type of cartridge it uses , I would just get a good printer and sell the cartridges on ebay for 60-80% its original value

you can get a canon ip1900 for £20 and buy the cartridges for a fiver off ebay or refill the ones supplied.
