printer for mum

hi

as above im thinking about a canon ip2600 printer for xmas . are they any good ive got £50 to spend . ive looked at a couple of reviews and its getting 8/10 .

just looked at the spec and it doesnt say win 98 . do any new printers support 98 or is it xp and upwards

I think only Windows 98 Second Edition was USB compatible, so check what version your Mum has. Canon dont seem to have any drivers for it either so maybe take a look at another brand.
