Well, here goes, i've got an HP Photosmart C7180 connected to a wireless router which i am connected to via ethernet. Up till quite recently it worked perfectly fine with HPLIP (the problem is the same in Mint 8, which it worked in to begin with but then stopped, Ubuntu 10.04 and Mint 9), but for some reason it's just stopped working giving an error message saying that it's 'not connected'. Now while the printer does have frequent problems with dropping off the network i know this isn't the cause of the problem because it persists no matter how often i reconnect it, and also the other XP laptop in the house can still print to it.
I believe if this problem were fixed, then then this next one would be too but i have a file that i would like to print, which i have been doing by putting files on a SD card and plugging it directly into the printer, but it is larger than a single A4 page and no matter how many menus i go through i can't get it to print to 100% scale, on multiple A4 sheets. Any ideas on how to do this if we can't get the previous problem fixed?
Thanks
