Hey all,

Here is how my current network is:

PC 1 + Netgear Router
|
Connects to...
|
PC 2 + Netgear USB Dongle

The network is used just to share the internet connection.

I have recently brought an Epsom printer - is there a way that I can have the printer next to PC 2 (In the other room) and connect it to the network so that I can click print on PC 1 and have it print off?

If so, how do I go about it? :p

Thanks,
Marky

If you connect it to PC2 you will be able to print to it from PC1 but only when PC2 is turned on. The other solution it to get a wireless print server.

Open the printer properties, set it to shared and give it a name e.g. "EPSONPRINTER"

On your XP PC open up Printer and Faxes, Select Add Printer

Obv replace ip with the correct ip and the printer name with what ever you decide to call it.

I think thats how you do it, i dont have my printer plugged in to play about.
