I hooked up an old laserjet to my blackarmor NAS, it shows up here:

When I click it, Windows 10 whinges it doesn't have the driver (why?), but when I manually scroll though the HP devices it's there so I installed a driver:
However, no print jobs ever show up in the print queue or get printed, on the net I can find people saying they disappear, but for me, they wont even appear, print queue stays empty

Any ideas how I can use this printer? Rebooted the pc, stopped and restarted the print spooler, but nothing,
. Why is windows such a sore for installing a printer grrr? It also doesn't give me any error, the print jobs I send to this print queue simply don't exist .
Printer works fine on some old vista laptop my dad uses (though not checked if it works shared).
