My dad recently bought a new laptop and it's having problems with his printer (Samsung ML-1510-700).
The printer works fine on his old laptop running Windows ME.
The printer seems to randomly refuse to print... It can sometimes print off MS Works .wps files, but can't seem to print MS Works Spreadsheet .xlr files. It doesn't get any error messages and in the printer status it says "printing...", but it just doesn't work.
It would print a Word document perfectly one minute, then fail on the same document a minute later.
I have installed the correct Vista drivers from the Samsung website.
Any idea what could be causing this?
It's important that I get it working because it's his business laptop and he's unable to print off letters, etc!
My only other option is to buy him another printer, but I shouldn't have to do this because apparently it CAN support Vista!
