Hi there, not sure where to put this thread as it sort of covers a couple of areas.
Basically i am having an issue at work with a USB printer enabled on the network. The PC that the printer is directly connected to has the printer shared on the network and made available on the directory.
When i log into another pc on the network in the same room (our resources centre) the printer is picked up fine and appears in the Printers folder under the correct name etc. When i try and print a document, however, the document is sent fine and is listed in the printer properties.
The only way i can get the printer to print the document is by restarting the PC that the printer is loccaly attached to and upon the restart, the document is printed.
When i try and print a dcoument whilst logged on to the PC the printer is connected to, both in the domain and locally, the document prints first time.
I can't get my head around it so any help is very much appreciated.
