Printer recomendations.....

Looking to purchase a printer and not sure which one to choose. I've narrowed it down to these 2 multi functional devices:

Cannon Pixma Mp 160
HP Deskjet F380

Specification wise, they look pretty identical apart from the HP having a superior scanner (48 bit as opposed to 24 bit).

Anybody have any experience with either printer?

Not specific printers but I have owned both Canons and HPs, and I would never buy an HP again after my latest Canon IP 5200... I love it

Why is that Bes? If you don't mind me asking.

One thing I always hated about HP are the drivers, or rather the other rubbish that gets installed with them.

Is this the same with Cannon?

I just think Canons are quieter, faster, and produce better images than HP printers.... There is nothing wrong with HPs as such, I just think Canons are a cut above IMO.
