Printer recommendation

Whats the current pick of the crop for all in one printers ?

I'm thinking Canon MP640 but the lexmark interact is sixty quid cheaper

the ip4700 isnt an all in one scanner copier job tho

not that i use those things very often i guess

I'm starting to think maybe all printers are hopeless unless they get a fair amount of use !

Printing maybe two or three things a month it seems the cartridges dry up or go time ex and I use half the ink trying to clean the print heads , then it still doesnt work so I buy new cartridges then if that doesnt work a new printer
