Printer Recommendation

I could do with a recommendation for a general purpose printer. I am not looking to do a lot of printing - maybe 10 documents or so a month and some scanning.

I had an HP Officejet 8015 for the last 11 months but returned that to Costco under Warranty as I was getting constant error code messages when switching on and it would not print the complete text on a page correctly.

buy a laser. For that volume of printing, almost *any* laser will do. just buy the cheapest.

As for scanner , just buy a cheaper scanner you can get them for £25 , again, anyone will do. Consider if you want a sheet feed unit (more compact) or a flatbed. many people like the all in ones, but the are big, bulky , one half always breaks. Just get 2 units that do what they do in the simple way.
