Got a multifunction laser printer - an HP Laserjet 3020. It's little over a year old, and the document feed tray on the top (for copying/scanning) has stopped being capable of picking up the paper. It whirrs and rolls, but you have to shove it to make it go through.

I'm fairly sure the rubber roller has dried out and just doesn't grip any more - does anyone have any ideas for giving it a bit of a rejuvenation? Or do you think I can get hold of a new one? I've had a look at the HP site, and haven't had any joy.

The roller is probably just dirty.
You can buy special cleaning paper to run through it.
Alternatively if you can reach it, use some alcohol on a swab - NOT a cotton bud though, as that will likely leave more gunk on the roller.
If you can get easy access to the roller, which probably means dismantling it, use some sellotape to lift the dirt off the roller. Check that the tape isn't likely to leave a residue buy trying it on an old CD.
