Please could I ask you knowledgeable folks out there a question regarding printer sharing?
At the moment I have a home office which has two laptops for work and two desktop PCs for personal use. The two laptops connect to a corporate VPN via broadband modems on two dedicated broadband circuits and the desktops connect via a BT Homehub to another broadband. None of these computers are networked locally (I know it sounds odd - 4 standalone pcs, 3 broadband lines - long story!).
Anyway - I would like to connect all of these PCs to a single printer and wondered what options I have. All of the PCs are wireless enabled - so could I use a wireless print server and cut down on cabling even though there isn't a single network? If not - are there any other solutions (wired or otherwise) for this setup.
Apols that this seems like a naive question - but I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to networks
Thanks in advance
TC
