Hi, I've had my Canon ip7250 since August 2017 and it served me well but now died on me today, now it won't even power up :)
Can you please speck me something similar, I need it to print on the DVD face aswell.
I've a good few ink cartridges that fit my Canon BTW.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone :) ? what printer are you using to print on the DVD face?, I would imagine not may of you print onto DVDs now but I still do, I recording weddings :)

I need one that takes the paper in from the bottom BTW.

Thanks in advance.

If it's suddenly decided not to power on I'd look into that before sending it to landfill. Have you tried a different cable or changed the fuse?

There's fairly inexpensive power supplies for that model on eBay. If there's something readily available on the bay, there's usually a reason...

Hi, Funny this morning the printer powered up again and I thought a good nights sleep helped it but no, after 5 mins it just went off again and yes, I did try a digfferent lead when it first powered off and the lead made no difference,

I still would go for a new Canon printer, one that also prints onto DVD, thank you.

Don't know anything about domestic printers, sorry. If my granddad was still alive, I'd ask him what he uses to print on DVDs

All my brides still ask me for DVDs, never had a bride that didnt want them and of course, I also supply them with MP4 files.

Think it's time to say enough is enough...usb stick now, not DVD's.
My wife just put a stop to fax's where she works:cry:
on a serious note, no idea about printers that still have DVD printing. We got an HP envy photo 6234 during lockdown. Prints well enough but if I did again, I'd def get one will the big multiple ink tanks such as smart tank plus 555...can print up to 8000 colour pages before needing refill...already gone through 2 sets of ink cartridges with this printer, so although the ink tank ones are more expensive initially, they work out a lot cheaper in the long run.

that might help

The Canon PIXMA ip8750 might fit the bill. Looks pretty similar to your current printer, and it uses the same ink carts plus an additional Grey one. Has a print to CD/DVD option.

@Ynot

I have a Canon IP7250 still going. So I would be very interested if you were to list a full set of unused cartridges in Member's Market. If you do list them, can you tag me or notify me via PM so I can watch for your thread?

Hold your mouse over Inbox at the top right of the forum page then click Start a New Conversation. That's how I understand it, anyway. :o

We need to be careful not to make any offers via PM, as the mods can see our messages. But so long as we do any deals within MM, we should be fine.

tried pm and got this message box...You may not start a conversation with the following recipients: darael

So, if I go to the MM and under For Sale PC Hardware & Software, create a post, Canon IP7250 Ink Cartridges, and saying you were the first to ask if they were for sale, I'd perfer you should get then, (is that within the rules)

As long as the sale is done within MM, we should be fine. I suspect moderators might be more snotty if users took to using trust and PM and not using the MM to make trade. At least this way we're both seen as trying to do the right thing.

Thats OK, yes, i'm not great at PMs and the like, just want to play safe, OK Thanks.

make a wanted thread @Ynot so darael can reply.

Keep all negotiations on thread and only go to trust when you are ready to pay.

Edit: @darael - you make the wanted thread - I misread!
