I've got a HP M277DW Laser Jet MFP and I'm having trouble connecting to wifi to print, it was all working fine and then suddenly it stopped printing.

I uninstalled and re-installed with the latest drivers but no go.
I can see the printer is connected to my Unifi AP but can't ping it from my W10 PC or from my W10 laptop. However, if I turn the printer off and on again then I can ping once but subsequent pings fail.
The network settings and signal on the printer are fine and it's connected to my SSID, even reset them but still the same.
I've changed the static IP but still won't print.
Firewall settings are fine (using Bitdefender).
My cartridges are all pretty new.

I've never had this problem before and I'm scratching my head! Is there anything I've missed I need to check in W10? I've had the printer for about 5 years now so I wonder if the NIC in there has gone?

Did you update the AP firmware recently?
For my UAP-AC-LR a recent firmware update caused one of my Pi Zero W to have significant issues holding a connection. Lots of other reports of the same issue with different devices on the firmware release page.

Downgraded and it fixed it.

Did an update a couple of weeks ago which ties in with the problem starting thinking back. Never even thought to look at the AP (AC-LR) being at fault but checked out the Ubiquiti reddit page and some large threads on there about problems with IoT with the 6.5.28 firmware. The printer is the only thing on the 2.4 band and everything else works fine on 5 GHz. Suggestions were mainly to roll back to previous firmware but I found a post saying to put Minimum Data Rate Control (under WiFi settings) on manual and lowest setting. Did that and re-installed printer and so far so good, I can print and ping from PC and laptop now :)

Nice, hope that has sorted it.

Was very annoying, I tried different SD cards, installed a fresh OS and bought a replacement pi zero W all before thinking about AP firmware update. All my other Pi and wireless devices worked fine on 2.4 and 5 GHz

So far so good.

Annoyed the hell out of me, I hate it when I can't figure something out! I was thinking of factory resetting the APs, re-installing W10 but then the laptop couldn't connect either.
