Seriously.

How hard can this be.!!!!!

All I want to do is put a few different images onto a sheet of A4 photo paper, all resized to 6x4 and print.

Impossible. Spent last hour on Photoshop cs3 and still cant do it, it keep changing the size, screwing it up.

This should be something easy to do. We all want at times to just put some photos onto a sheet of A4 paper, print out and then cut to fit our photo frames.

But oh no. Something this is easy is impossible.

Anyone help please

Doing my nut in, really is, Mouse has flew across room twice so far.

1. Create new image of desired size/DPI.
2. Copy source image, paste into image (Automatically comes in as new layer)
3. Ctrl+T and resize with drag handles, esc to cancel resize, enter to commit resize.
4. Pick Drag tool from toolbar (Small cursor and 4 way compass/arrow icon or shortcut letter V) move to desired position
5. Repeat Steps 2 to 4 for every image you want to insert
6. Save image
7. Print image

When in transform mode, there should be width and height boxes on the top toolbar. Right click these and change to inches, mm or whatever.

No there is nothing like that

Just couldnt work out how to change sizes. Finally got it, looking at that photo i posted. if you click on the for eg: W=100.0% I can then change to different units.

thats what fox'd me.

Now i have run out of one of the ink cartridges. :(

For single prints/images you can specify image size when you do File > New also

You also want to up to DPI from the default 'screen' setting of 75DPI for photo printing.
