Got a bit of a problem here and was hoping you guys could help me find a solution.

The situation is, I have a very long assignment saved on my Vista PC at home in .docx Word 2007 format. I want to print it, and to do that I need a colour laser printer. Unfortunately I don't own one of these and so the only way to get around the problem is to print the file at college. However, catch-22, no machines at college use Vista or Word 2007. Yes, it would be very easy for me to simply convert to .doc format and then open them on XP in Office 2003 at college. But past experience has shown me that Office 2003 likes to mess up the layout of documents created using 2007, and so I would rather not spend hours on end re-editing page after page of work to correct mis-aligned page breaks and the sort.

So...what to do? Anyone got any ideas?

My one thought was that I could use the 'Print to file' option on my Vista PC, take this file, and then print it on the colour printer. But I haven't a clue whether this is actually possible, how it would be done, or whether this file is actually meant to be used in this way. Help please :(
