Printing from Ipad

I just bought a new printer for home. An Epson Stylus SX235W. I print about 100 pages per year max so just used for the odd occasion.

Anyway I thought I'd get the wireless version so the Mrs can print her pages off from the ipad. It's set up and configured but when I select print on the ipad it says no airprinters can be found???

Any ideas? On the box it does say 'easily' print from ipad, touch and phone

I think you need to send the file via a pc/mac ? could be wrong.

I don't think your printer supports AirPrint, I can't see it on the supported list:

I know you can sometimes get apps from the manufacturers to allow printing. AFAIK airprint is exclusive to HP.

I also saw a device which adds wireless and airprinting to ANY printer in the news today or yesterday but would likely be expensive

Ah well thanks anyway, why the hell does the box say allows easy printing from ipad if it cannot do it?

Does it actually say Airprint? If not I suspect it's just using a webprint system so you'd need the relevant app.

Ah right I'm a tool, I didn't realise I had to download epson iprint for the device
