Printing on multiple A4 Sheets for a banner software?

I can't remember what the software is called for printing on multiple sheets to produce a big image, I think it starts with an R? Believe its freeware, Any clues?

Infact no thats not the software.. I'd like something that can reproduce a big image onto multiple A4 sheets without any dot effects! Any ideas? Thank you
