printing problem

hi guys, i have a brother dcp-315cn printer and have followed all directions here to get printer working.

my problem is that when i print cups says "host busy retry in..." however this is when the printer is idle, and no matter how long i leave it it never prints. i am printing via ethernet.

does anyone know how to get this to work?

Have a look through the rest of the gentoo forums, they are usually good for things like this.

woo i fixed it, changed from AppSocket/HP JetDirect to lpd/lpr
